Easy listening for newbie coders
Just like her website, Laurence’s podcasts are down to earth and try to make the world of tech and web development accessible to more people. It’s the first time I heard her voice but she’s exactly how I imagined her to be from her website! The format is an informal interview with diverse interesting people who found their way into tech. I especially enjoyed S1E2 with Astrid Countee. It’s easy listening on the go and doesn’t require too much concentration. It’s motivational and inspirational for anyone who is new to coding and wants to broaden their horizons. It’s nothing highly technical nor too specific, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you might be disappointed. Even if you’re not into tech though, it might just be interesting to listen to some bright people’s varied career choices.
