Very promising!! My first thoughts!
Ive been working on learning Spanish for two years now and Im constantly looking for ways to achieve fluency and not fumble in conversation as much as I do now. The learn craft method seems promising and has a step by step system for teaching Spanish fluency. I’ve only explored this podcast briefly and have not gone very far with yet but here are my thoughts on why Im drawn to it. Tim uses a “mountain” analogy to explain that with this method rather than going around the “mountain” or advanced topics until you are at a more advanced level of Spanish. The Learn craft method complexity reteaches you how to think in Spanish and in doing so makes a short cut right through the mountain and address advanced concepts early I like this idea because the people I want to speak with are not speaking a a basic level and Id rather learn advanced ideas sooner to improve my Spanish so that I can have deep meaningful interactions in Spanish. I always appreciate a method that is not out of date and isn’t afraid of tackling advanced topics sooner than later . Even more interesting for me is the idea that the learn craft method explains that it teaches you to think the way a Spanish speaker would and understanding the real difference in how we think in english vs how to think in Spanish. Constructing sentences in Spanish has been a huge goal of mine as I have a hard time not breaking away form my english sentence construction. After listening to the first week of lessons Ive got to admit Im more than intrigued with the system and am excited to follow along. The Learn Craft techniques doesn’t come across as gimmicky like “learn Spanish fast” or “learn to be fluent in 30 days”. In fact, Tim is very up front about how much work a commitment is involved and does not necessarily promise an easy road but rather a successful one if you stick with the program. I tend to get board quick or have attain deficit moments with learning so it was nice to hear that as long as stick with the method even when feeling anxious to push ahead faster that the reward is in fact fluency. Let’s see how it goes!!

So far, I have found this method to be foundational when it comes...Read full review »

Stop wasting your time and money with all of the other Spanish language courses and apps — no one is teaching Spanish like this. Timothy explains that his method is grammar first and it will help you to think and speak like an actual native Spanish speaker. I’ve been following Timothy’s work...Read full review »
