Description
Back in 2016, FIBA announced a ground-breaking strategic partnership with Perform, that lead to the creation of FIBA Media. The joint venture, between the two organisations, is committed to increasing the value of the basketball fan experience and providing fans with unprecedented access to content. Besides, FIBA Media encompasses all rights commercialisation (broadcast, OTT, and data), production, and distribution for FIBA’s premium events and leagues.    For this new LeCorner episode, we had the pleasure to discuss with its Managing Director, Andrew Ryan. Andrew is responsible for driving FIBA Media’s growth strategy, to create opportunities to develop and promote basketball worldwide. During our discussion, we came back to FIBA Media's mission and strategy to deliver content to its fans in an innovative and fresh way.   Episode timeline: - Andrew's journey in the sports industry - His missions and duties at FIBA Media  - FIBA Media: origin and purpose - FIBA, Two Circles, and Courtside 1891   - A look at other streaming platforms: VolleyBall TV, and Fifa +   - Andrew's involvement in cricket as a commentator  - Recommendations:  Unofficial partner podcast / Leaders newsletter    If you had good time listening this episode, do not hesitate to support us: 1.
