Listen now
Description
With the 2022 World Cup quickly approaching, we wanted to spotlight one of our very first LeCorner episode with Daniel Ribeiro, Director of National Teams Services at FPF (Portuguese Football Federation).  Growing up in the United States, he started his professional career in 1998 as Operations Coordinator for the NY/NJ MetroStars, one of the original clubs of Major League Soccer, today known as New York Red Bulls.  Afterwards, he spent several years at UEFA, before moving to Portugal, his country of origin, to join FPF. Just five months before his country’s triumph at UEFA Euro 2016 in France. In this highlight, Daniel provides some well-meant advice about innovation in football, and in sports in general. During our discussion, he depicts the backstage of the Portugal team’s glorious rise, underlined by victories at UEFA’s Euro 2016 and 2018-2019 Nations League.  If you had good time listening this extract, do not hesitate to support us:   1.
