At a time when professional athletes are becoming more and more their own media, the pioneer sports competition still has a huge role to play media-wise. For this new LeCorner episode, we had the pleasure of receiving Benny Bonsu, Director of Daily Content, at the International Olympic Committee (Olympics.com & Olympic Channel). Ghanaian-born and London-raised, she spent 16 years as a broadcast journalist and writer for the NBA before joining IOC 2 years ago. She also was the Head of Editorial for Women’s Sports at GiveMeSport, where she led a successful coverage of Women’s Sports in the UK. Through her inspiring path, she understood the importance of storytelling in delivering content, one of the Olympic Channel pillars. How to turn this storytelling into an effective content strategy?
