The war of rallies is over in Gujarat as the state is set to vote in the phase 2 election on December 5. Gujarat voted today in 89 of the state's 182 Assembly seats with the BJP hoping to consolidate its position in a state that it has ruled for 27 years.  There were mega road shows today -- Arvind Kejriwal, who believes his AAP has a chance of defeating the BJP on its home-turf,  and then, there was the Prime Minister's roadshow said to be the longest by any leader.

YSR Telangana Party leader YS Sharmila, who was arrested on Tuesday after she tried driving to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's home in Hyderabad, said she felt "insulted" as her "only aim" was to "parade our vehicles that were damaged by his party's goons".  She also called the arrest and the fiasco that erupted a political move by the TRS to bar her party.

Israel's ambassador to India today publicly denounced a filmmaker from his country who called 'The Kashmir Files' a "propaganda" and "vulgar movie" at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. It was a super political Sunday, from Gujarat to Delhi. Top politicians slugged it out in both states. With just four days to go for the Gujarat assembly election, contenders are going all out to campaign with top leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal went to Surat, which will vote in the first phase in Gujarat. In Delhi, the BJP rolled out big leaders to campaign for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, or MCD, election.

There have been at least 13 deaths of children due to measles in Mumbai and the alarm bells are ringing. In a letter to all the states and Union Territories, the Health Ministry said the measles case surge is of particular concern. Increasing measles cases in several states have raised concern whether it could spread to more areas.

More chilling details have emerged of the horrific murder of 26-year-old Shraddha by her partner Aftab in Delhi. Police say they have recovered 10 of the 35 body parts that Aftab scattered at different locations. Now, it has emerged that Aftab dated and brought other women to his house after killing and chopping Sharaddha to pieces.
