“JFK was interesting until last episode. Couldn’t finish it. Instead of “quoting the official report” or saying he was “allegedly” shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, they make that statement of the shooting as if it’s historic fact. It is hotly contested for many reasons, and has been debunked by some of the best research. (Not to mention the famous video showing the fatal shot coming from the front. Or the lack of gunshot residue on Oswald when tested) Hard to breeze over something like that when covering JFK. Saying Oswald shot him in the context of fact is disrespectful to the historic significance of this event.
As an American, that event forever split this country. Us against the government. Because people are unwilling to recognize the obvious issues with historically accusing someone who not only was videotaped saying he was a patsy, but never had a trial. (Alongside mountains of tangible evidence supporting his innocence)
We believe in justice in this country. And JFK didn’t get it. There was not a trial. He was never proved guilty, let’s keep that in mind as a starting point. Innocent until.
In whatever fairness I can offer the presenters, I didn’t finish the episode.”
