If I lived in Vietnam and my name in your language sounded like Eat a D**k, I would change it to avoid embarrassment both on my part and on the part of the people who have to say it. “I understand you are offended, but you need to understand your name is an offensive sound in my language,” he added. “I repeat my request.” Segment 2: K-pop fans trolls - If you know anything about Trump, it is that he loves bragging about his crowd numbers - At his presidential inauguration, he kept saying he had a bigger crowd turnout than Obama but it was later found that he exaggerated his numbers and asked a Whitehouse photographer to photoshop the official photos - Trump rally for election -> bragged 1m turnout for his first rally in months - He said no stadium will be empty this rally - A campaign from Kpop stans saw them rsvping to reserve up all the seats at the rally  - Similarly, police asked people to submit photos of rioters and they all flooded it with fan cams  Segment 3: Josh Thomas and coon cheese (10 mins) - So, Josh Thomas has apologised for his comments about diversity in the arts last week - It all started after the Australian actor and comedian tweeted a photo of Australian cheese brand Coon implying that the brand should re-name its cheese because of the racial slur  - Twitter was quick to re-share a video of Josh Thomas talking about diversity on an all white panel at a writer’s festival. - Michelle Law: The reason that Josh Thomas video is so disturbing is that people we think are on our side are not. White moderates are more dangerous than outright racists. - "This is about the broken, racist society in which we live, the way that racist society dictates who gets to tell stories, and how that panel is a part of and reflects these issues,"   See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
