Critical of cults, yet accepting of Eckhart Tolle?
Incredulous to hear Eckhart Tolle extolled as some kind of luminary during my first encounter with these podcasts. Seriously? If that ludicrous, self-appointed ‘guru’ (to me, having been dragged by gullible colleagues to see him perform, merely another platitude-spouting, profit-seeking charlatan) has credibility for these people, their capacity for incisive critique of cults is shot to hell for me.

I’m so glad I discovered this podcast! They choose interesting stories of sects around the world - I especially like the coverage of some of the lesser-known, Australian sects. The host has a really soothing voice.
