Must listen for those affected by suicide
I’ve scoured the internet and audible books for conversations surrounding the process of grieving a loved one after their death due to suicide. From the first episode I no longer felt crazy, alone, or like my world was falling on me. It’s falling a part but it’s not burying me. I lost my love 4 weeks ago to suicide. There aren’t enough resources for those processing grief surrounded by the shame of suicide. Speaking about it openly helps alleviate some of the shame and with that comes confidence to talk openly and start the healing.

This podcast is the first I’ve found that has plainly articulates the confusing, confounding multiple layers of shock, grief and guilt that follow the death of someone by suicide. It normalizes the process and offers practical insights into finding hope in life again. Highly recommend.
