“So much gratitude to Julia Furlan for making a point of saying “we need to accept the process of aging”. Until Barry Hardiman pivoted after Julia’s comment, she was negging hard on aging. She even stressed that her passion for sunscreen is based on blocking UVA rays which are responsible for visible signs of aging, rather than melanoma and other actually deadly consequences of sun exposure. I was really sad to hear how easily this rolled off Barry’s tongue, no reservations, no shame. The stigma against aging is rampant, it’s culturally accepted, it’s caustic, and it needs to stop. Thank you again Julia : )”
