“I subscribed to this podcast assuming it would offer something similar to the NYT’s Wirecutter podcast, sharing neutral, objective advice about life’s tangible challenges. Yet most episodes seem to convey a politicized message, and the podcasts don’t offer a intellectual diversity. The tantrum episode was particularly frustrating — the expert offered a variety of parenting techniques that Gentle Parenting influencers and writers tend to advocate. This would have been absolutely fine had there been one or two other perspectives represented in the podcast. It is becoming more and more clear to me that NPR is allergic to debate and offers nothing but an ideological echo chamber; I should not be surprised that this podcast is no exception to this reality.”
