Started great, but...
I listened to Napoleon, then Caesar and was very excited about the Alexander podcast. Cam is funny and he obviously spends a lot of time doing research for each episode. I tend to learn a lot of details from Cam, ranging from Eunuchs, to Hoplites, to funky greek orgy parties. Cam’s personality combined with his willingness to obviously perform the required research brings forth a quality podcast that I always look forward to. However lately I have been becoming more frustrated with Ray. He appears to try to compensate for not being prepared and having little to contribute by constantly trying to find things to say that are funny…which are not, but rather constant interruptions. It seems that even Cam has shown some level of frustration with Ray’s inability to continue to contribute towards conversations. Thanks Cam for the work you do…but you got to check out Mycenea (and please pronounce it better) when you visit Greece. Hands down one of the coolest sites you will see there. 4 stays for this podcast, with the hope that Ray gets motivated to carry his weight and get this to 5 stars where it belongs.

Overall a decent podcast. Worth 5 dollars? Depends. I love these guys but man they need to nut up or shut up....Read full review »
