“I wanted to share some thoughts on the recent conversation about Harrison Butker. I felt a bit disappointed with how things turned around. Initially, Laura seemed completely against his stance, but then suddenly both Laura and Britt were suggesting they might have misinterpreted it and that it’s okay for him to have his own opinion. It was just a bit surprising and disappointing how it came across. I also just wanted to add that Brit, I feel like you are so concerned about speaking out against people with a high profile. I am sure there were other people who could have incorporated “the Aussie culture” into that routine. I recommend listening to big small talk, they touched on this topic so well! Also just wanted to add I am absolutely still a lifer and listen to all new episodes. This is something I would say to anyone who has a different opinion to me! ADDIT: I wanted to share some feedback on your recent episode about mental health, where you had a guest discussing the importance of ensuring that loved ones aren’t alone. First, I want to commend you on choosing such a critical topic. Mental health is a vital subject, and it’s great to see it being discussed on your platform. However, I found this particular episode a bit challenging to listen to. The host seemed to frequently bring up their own experiences, their friends’ stories, and (I’m about to sound like a monster haha) but they were crying with every story. While personal anecdotes can be powerful, it felt like these interruptions shifted the focus away from the broader conversation and made the episode more about their personal journey rather than the topic at hand. As a listener, this made it difficult to stay engaged with the core message of the episode. I felt awkward for the guest as well. I appreciate the effort that goes into producing your content, and I offer this feedback with the hope that it may be helpful for future episodes.”
