I disagree with other reviews stating that the characters "fell flat." I think that the characters are strong, given the short length of each episode. And therein lies the ultimate problem, the length of the episodes. At 8-13 minutes each, no matter how strong each character is and how much the plot may captivate, one can only do so much within that limited time frame. More time = more character development, more plot points, more twists, and more bonding moments for the character themselves.
