Great stories, great readings
Today I listened to Kate Elliott's beautifully nuanced and character-driven fantasy "A Compendium of Architecture and the Science of Building," read by Jack Kincaid; Adam-Troy Castro's worthy-of-Douglas-Adams "Greetings, Humanity! Welcome to Your Choice of Species!", read by Stefan Rudnicki; and Manuel Gonzales's scary and somewhat surreal "Scavenge, Rustic Hounds!", read by Gabrielle de Cuir. I've known for years that Lightspeed is a reliable source of excellent science fiction and fantasy. But this is my first time I've heard the podcast. The narration exceeds expectations. These are professional and accomplished voice performances. It's the kind of fiction podcast that's so good you marvel that it's free.Read full review »
