Every single production is world class. Show after show, they knock it out of the park. First class actors. Lush audio. Detailed soundscapes. Original stories — funny and sad and horrifying and everything in between. Gorgeous music. Bravo

Best one though is the Aldrich Kemp series - clear standout. Love the crossover with Lovecraft Investigations! Did NOT expect to get Kennedy Fisher!

Ploughed through 5 episodes of the skies are watching reasonably entertaining but you are constantly waiting for the explanation at the end, the twist or explanation. You don’t get this at all, the thing ends leaving you with no sense of closure and a wish you hadn’t bothered. Please save...Read full review »

Amazing stories, talented professional actors, stellar production. My favourite series is Love and Other Lies, a dark-comedy/thriller.

A series of whole stories over 5 episodes. Really interesting listening

Limelight always starts out promising but ends up being tepid and unremarkable.

All stories are about women and all lead characters for nearly all stories are women. How about some stories for male listeners. ???? VERY UNBALANCED AND SEXIST.

Def. One of my favorites, good storyline, good acting, sounds were immersive, it’s a must listen if u like action. Excited to check out other titles Spoiler on ending That’s more than I got in my account, I’d definitely be happy with that.

I absolutely love this podcast I’m not even sure what to call it. It’s a collection of fictional stories that last approximately 5 episodes, some of them have second of third seasons but most of them are just one off stories. Some are dystopian, some are funny, or a but spooky. I haven’t loved...Read full review »

Can you please organize each separate show into a numbered season (like the majority of other podcasts on Apple)? Its so annoying to have to scroll through all the shows. I can’t believe the show has been on Apple for so long and still remains unorganized.
Not surviving this game via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 04/12/24
It’s so disorganized. Why don’t they divide the stories into their own individual shows?
JaneBerlinH via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/17/24
The stories are mostly good but they need to be organized they are just all thrown together and it makes no sense and I can’t keep the stories separate in my mind.
Ladiwanderinstagram via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/12/24
These series of stories are so good. I look forward to hearing each one and they keep me gripped until the end. Wonderfully characterised and narrated by great voices and the special sound effects are brilliant! Thank you.

While the production quality is excellent and the actors’ performances great, the stories are highly biased Marxist narratives against capitalism and white people. The most recent stories (Cobalt and Sabine) both advocate for illegal actions (theft, torture, destruction of property) against white...Read full review »

So I listed to Cobalt and I LOVED it. As an African it brought me so much joy to hear African voices, African accents, and African stories being told. But why are all Africans the same????? 😅😅😅😅😅the auntie on the plane is such an African auntie. And it’s true, in African culture everyone is...Read full review »

Consistently great concepts and stories, but too often having weak/rushed endings. Even if you’re going to have additional seasons later, the lame endings really need work. Please.
moppet_mi via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/30/23
The stories are mostly good and enthralling. But for the love of god, if you’re not going to make each story it’s on podcast under your channel, at least separate each story into seasons so that we can find what we want faster and listen easier. You just slap new crap up with no care in the...Read full review »

Without a doubt, of all of the many, many fiction podcasts I have listened to, the two five-part Aldrich Kemp series' are the most clever, witty, well written and well acted I have come across. An absolute must listen for any fan of podcast fiction.Read full review »

Got fed up trying to listen to the story through the distracting background music. The distraction causes the story to ramble and I can’t decide what to focus on. Shame as I like the idea.

Not sure what it is about the writers of this podcast. But every episode has a very good buildup for the storyline, but the ending seems very rushed and basic. It’s like this at the end of each Story.

Absolutely magnificent production(s), the soundscape, the voiceacting, the thematic research: This defines the standard of audio drama & storytelling.

Well-written and acted, and presented by “Slow Horses” heartthrob Jack Lowden, it is the rare true crime podcast that centers the victims. Its fifth and final episode packs a wallop. Quite moving.

I first listened to the Tom Clancy story and loved it. Saw “Who is Aldrich Kemp” and couldn’t wait to listen to the next episode. Hoping he’s not really dead in “Who Killed Aldrich Kemp”. I want to keep going! Fun, exciting and mysterious. Makes the ride to work so much better!!

Why the BBC commissioned this incoherent drivel I just don’t know. The normally excellent BBC podcasts like Cryptoqueen and coming Storm are lessened by this rambling mess. Avoid far better available.

One of my absolute favourite podcasts. The stories vary enormously in terms of subject matter but they've all been superb. 'Who is Aldrich Kemp' is especially good, but the two Harland serials were also excellent. I eagerly anticipate each new release. Highly recommended.Read full review »

I appreciate that it’s an audio drama, but the dialogue is written like an 50s detective novel, leaving noting up to the imagination. The even use the word nemesis! Like WTF.
