“What an amazing team the two of them make. They are slick, rehearsed and erudite. There’s none of the usual podcast chit-chat. It’s all golden content. I’m in Africa and I’m very critical of people who ignore us. This podcast uses examples from African languages sometimes and is very balanced in their approach. I find myself quoting the podcast and enthralling my dinner party guests with tales of Grice’s maxims, evidentiality and back-channeling.
