The Porridge of Book Podcasting - Just Right
I heard about this podcast through the forums over at Books on the Nightstand (which is also great) and gave it a try... and I'm in love. The tone of this show is just right for me. It's smart, but not highfalutin. It's conversational but not in an inside-baseball kind of way. And its friendly: Tod, Julia, and Rider are clearly friends and they obviously make each other laugh and respect each others' opinions. It makes for fun listening that has made me laugh out loud awkwardly on public transportation (the Sweet Valley High episode was the culprit... may I suggest that a Harlequin romance novel get the same Literary Disco treatment?). All this to say... if you dig book podcasting, definitely give this a listen.Read full review »

This podcast is a great introduction to pop literature criticism with a hip, fun group of college friends who all bring in excellent outside experiences. A very enjoyable listen. Looking forward to more!
