The most energetic book podcast out there!
I love Literary Disco. The books reviews are varied and interesting, the games (like bookshelf roulette) are fun, and the banter is hilarious. Todd is often talking about himself (loudly), Rider assumes the roll of crotchety skeptic, and poor Julia tries to keep the peace, set the record straight, and control the antics. IN THE BEST POSSIBLE SENSE! Listen for an episode where Julia laughs - you're in for a treat. Honestly most other literary podcasts have hosts that sound timid at best, bored at the worst. Julia, Todd, and Rider are wonderful, engaging people with personality.Read full review »
