I really did, I tried to like this podcast. I listened to it for a month and a half but I just couldn't stand it. I felt physically uncomfortable listening to Todd demean everything he deemed lower them himself. He may value himself as a funny, non-PC, smart guy. But it was obvious to me he was offensive and it was his corrosive comments and general lack of care to stay on the topic of literature that ended my listening. Literary Disco never lets her get her opinions in, which is a shame sense she seems like a true literary aficionado. Rider is okay, but allows his friend Todd to take over. And sometimes I feel that Rider doesn't take his job as 'show-runner' seriously. Honestly it was disappointing to be turned away from this literary podcast. The search continues.Read full review »
