Educational and Entertaining
This podcast covers a whole heck of a lot and Dr. Metzger makes the stories fun! I do appreciate how he injects some interpretation of things that are not intirely covered by the literature (such as incomplete ancient text). Yes, he uses silly voices, but it helps keep the listeners attention and define which character he is quoting. He avoids the educational lecturing drone of the average professor by injecting his personality, fun music, and funny quips.

This show has an enormous amount of educational content. It's serious and scholarly, but the host also makes literature really entertaining and accessible. Lots of good/absorbing background music, done just right, too. Check it out!
