“This is by far my favorite podcast. Doug Metzger is scholarly and serious about his work, yet not stuffy. He clearly loves the literature and has just the right amount of humor. It's a testament to his telling and dicussion of the stories that at the end of each podcast I have this burning urge to read or reread the original of the work that was just discussed. Some of the muscial pieces are really funny too. Keep it going Doug! Boom Boom Boom Sea Monster!”Read full review »
