A favorite
I listen to a lot of podcasts on many topics, but along with The History of English, this is one of my favorites. I've read many of the works that Metzger covers, though long ago, but his coverage of them has made them that more interesting because of all the context that he adds. I've learned a lot. I even think many of the songs at the end are pretty original and often fun.Read full review »

This podcast covers a whole heck of a lot and Dr. Metzger makes the stories fun!
