Amazing podcast for kid (and adults, too)!!
Our entire family LOVES Little Stories for Tiny People. We take many long road trips to visit out of town family, and by far, the most requested form of car entertainment for my 6, 4, and 2 year-old is “Little Stories for Tiny People.” (Honestly, it rivals the DVD player!) The kids absolutely love the stories and animal characters that are completely relatable to their lives. Additionally, they adore the special “guests” that Rhea (the author/narrator) features in the introduction and conclusion of each episode. (The verdict is still out in our house about whether these guests are real or fantasy… ☺) Also, Rhea’s voice is so soothing and captivating that even my 2 year-old stops whining in the car to listen…and ALL are happy! One can instantly tell that Rhea knows how kids think; she caters to her audience perfectly. As a parent and former educator, I am in love with this podcast for other reasons, as well. First, the stories feature different real-life topics that my kids face every day – from facing fears (even somewhat simple ones, like cutting hair), to dealing with BIG feelings, managing shyness, accepting siblings, handling food allergies, and so much more… This podcast has given me tools as a parent of how to handle certain situations with my own kids, simply by modeling the behavior/conversations of the characters. Additionally, I couldn’t help but think how awesome LSFTP would be to use in the classroom – perhaps in a Listening Center – but especially with kids who have special needs; the episode I come back to frequently is the story of “The Robot Who Had Feelings” (July 2, 2016), which shows how to identify/name certain feelings when you’re not quite sure what is going on inside of you. (An awesome episode for all kids - but especially those on the Autism Spectrum...) “Elodie is a Superhero” (June 4, 2016) is another great one that shows how kids can overcome challenges in life. Finally, I love this podcast because it promotes creative thinking. Rhea prompts listeners by saying, “remember – there are no pictures in this story, so you have to IMAGINE the pictures in your mind.” We live in an age of technology overload, where images are constantly infiltrating our kids’ brains. In contrast, LSFTP is a fantastic tool that causes kids to visualize the images, giving children a platform to be creative and think for themselves - LIFE SKILLS that will be with them forever! I can’t say enough good things about this podcast. Listen today, and share it with all of your friends! I guarantee you will love it!

More reviews of Little Stories for Tiny People
I was recommended this Podcast by a mom in my club so I played it for my daycare kids (1.5-3yrs) at naptime. They LOVED it. Now, my son (5) listens to it at Bedtime! I adore her soothing voice. The stories are wonderful.
