Found Alastair when I heard him interviewed on another podcast. Love his interview questions for non-famous everyday adventurers. I’ve borrowed several of his questions for conversation starters.

I loved this interview with Claire. She has a very wise head upon young shoulders and I like how she incorporates micro adventures into her busy life. An inspiration to anyone seeking to live more adventurously.

Gentle and curious, interesting and inspiring doses of adventure; reminders of the fabulous world we live in and a nudge to go and explore. Thank you! LOVED the episode with Beyond Boundaries Farm; what wonderful work.

Accidentally ran into this podcast. It’s a fun concept to interview people in your local area about living adventurously. Live the fact they are average people in the sense the are not “famous”. It is a way to live life more purposefully without having to bike through Vietnam or zip line in...Read full review »

I started listening to this on my drive to work. I am a weekend adventurer, kayaker, small boat sailor and cyclist - I walk a bit too. The podcast is amazing. Alastair asks the best questions and makes you question yourself - how you answer - what makes the subject different to me?? Refreshing,...Read full review »

I love listening to this podcast. Alistair has wonderful conversations with all sorts of different folks in all kinds of different adventures. The conversations help me think and frame questions about how I’m living my own life.

I can hardly recommend the podcast- its an honest encounter with people of all backgrounds. I really enjoy the „ uncut“ edges which seems to me a part of Alastairs character but/ and it makes his interview partners open as well towards the questions. Good listen if you need company in adventuring:-)

Love hearing from all these “ordinary” people doing neat, different things. Simultaneously super motivating and super mentally relaxing to listen to these interviews. Always something inspiring to take away. I love the deck of cards!

My favourite thing about this podcast is that listening never feels like a chore, it starts light-hearted & friendly but by the end you realise you’ve learnt something new. It gives time & space for a mental adventure, as well as prompting ideas for your next physical one too!

I’m a busy podcast listener, spending most of my time driving tractors or driving to cool places. But no podcast ever made me as happy as this one, I listened to episode 43 about a million times and it is literally my mood booster on bad days. I can relate so much and it really makes me feel...Read full review »

I absolutely love this! It’s really helping to kick me out of my unadventurous slump and I bought the workbook too. The bite sized podcasts are perfect, too. Thank you Alistair!

I’ve listened to the hosts audiobooks and appreciate this podcast. It’s short and wel curated, better than podcasts that span hours of interviews. Great perspectives and I keep coming back for more.

Too much knocking of the capitalist system and too much pushing of zero carbon. I have finished with this type of podcast. Goodbye and good luck.

I’m currently living in Shanghai and longing for the English countryside - these podcasts are like putting on a pair of slippers, grabbing a mug of hot chocolate and sitting by the open fire listening to stories and tales of adventure.

Wonderfully informative podcast about simple ways to get back to nature with interviews with ordinary people and what they are doing in Alistair’s area. Has inspired our family to get out more often in our own local area and to consider the environment more.

The real folk on this podcast are so inspiring and have such fantastic stories to share, and yet they all seem so humble and down to earth! Al has a lovely manner in his interview style and I always enjoy the deck of cards!

Living Adventurously is one of my favourite podcasts, and I listen to a lot. The thing I find most inspiring about it is the people on it are just normal, like you and me, so it often makes me think, yeah I could do that too. I heard about this podcast as Anna and John are friends of mine. Loved it, such a ray of positivity in a rather gloomy world at the moment. Have recommended to lots of people, will now be spending every commute to work living (or at least listening) adventurously!

Interesting people. Interesting questions. No ego or pretentiousness. Really inspiring and real, no instagram influencers here. Very raw but still excellent production quality.

So refreshing to hear open and candid conversation. Al asks the questions i would like to ask of.a whole array of people i wouldn’t have the chance to meet, or simply haven’t come across yet. Makes you realise what a wonderful, varied group of humans we are.
