Negative, Negative, Negative
I started listening to this podcast several months ago. I recently had to quit listening because I was becoming too depressed. I have been a Christian since I was 13 (25 years now). If the God Chip is describing in His podcast is accurate, then I need to rethink my commitment to Christ. Chip regularly mocks believers for expecting to be blessed for their obedience. I distinctly remember him rhetorically asking (as a believer) "But then the blessing comes real soon, right God?". Another of my favorites "What's the deal, God?", and "But God, what about me?". I need to believe that God will bless me for doing right. I guess I'm just one of those people who is motivated by incentive. Furthermore, Chip's delivery gets grating at times. Occasionally, Chip gets so animated that his vocal pitch rises to the point of near shrieking. Maybe Chip's revelation of God is accurate. Maybe not. In any case, if you're looking to be encouraged, look elsewhere.Read full review »

I appreciate listening to Chip because he includes life applications to his Biblical teaching. So I can practice principles I'm hearing about. I've also found life is alot more peaceful living by Christian principles then by going my own mistaken way. Thanks, Chip.Read full review »
