First off, I love your podcast; but, disclaimer, this isnt so much a review as it is a addendum to your Bohemian Grove episode from July 15th.
The owlbear that is mentioned by Dave Child in the episode isn't actually a creature from any mythology or pagan religion. It is a creature for the board game Dungeons and Dragons. The monster being introduced in the 1975 editon of the game. The monster was inspired by a plastic toy that the designer of the game Gary Gygax saw in Hong Kong. Also the owlbear appears in the computer game Warcraft. (Found all this from the 'owlbear' wiki page)
Legitimacy of the owlbear argument aside, this episode was AWESOME. This podcast is AWESOME. And Katelyn Hempstead, you are AWESOME.
