Very fun
I like this podcast. I noticed that some reviews have said that they don’t think the host and guest spend enough time on conspiracy theories. But I disagree. I think the host goes out of her way to stay on topic. The fact that there is occasional divergence is just natural. But it is only educational. That issue aside, what I like about the program is the variety of attitudes it offers to conspiracy theories. Some people come on as out-and-out skeptics of conspiracy theories but nevertheless do a good job explaining what all the fuss is about regarding a particular conspiracy theory. Some guests completely believe the theory they’re espousing. Still, some others don’t believe but they play the ironist and act as though the theory is totally sound. I for one don’t believe in conspiracy theories. But I don’t think the point here is to get you to believe or disbelieve. It’s rather to explore how convincing the theories seem on their face, and how well the guests can present the theories as plausible. Fun stuff.

This seemed like a promising podcast, but the hosts are kind of vapid and don't do enough research into the conspiracies that they are making fun of. Also spend more time on random tangents than on ridiculing conspiracy nuts.Read full review »
