“I got into this podcast basically because it was the only Hoops pod that I could find that was producing content during the offseason. Now that all the other pods are now back, this one is still my favorite.
The pod has a friendly approachable atmosphere and doesn't fall prey to the in-jokes that haunt other podcasts where the hosts think that the show is all about them. If you want movie or restaurant recommendations, or references to jokes made years ago, then go check out those others.
This one has NBA news and fantasy implications only. Josh and his multitude of co-hosts recognise that not all listeners belong to the same league, so every format is covered along with players that are relevent from shallow to the deepest leagues out there.
The "value" of this podcast extends to Twitter where Josh will answer virtually any type of question you have in a timely manner, and listening has introduced me to a lot of other good guys to follow that I maybe wouldn't have found otherwise. I don't always agree with what I hear on the pod, and it's nice to get some elaboration on Twitter, or a follow-up on the next episode.
