“I appreciate the great content every day that you guys bring. I'm also a big fan of the longer podcasts. Anyway, I'm stuck in a weird spot of still feeling loyalty to Dirk and wanting to maximize his last season or 2, but also realizing that we're nowhere close to contending as constructed and we are in for a long ride back to the top, if we ever get there. I would imagine the MBT is also feeling that way as well. Do you think that there's any chance that the Mavs would do something crazy like trade Wes, No. 9, and a future first for PG13? I realize that he's only signed for 1 year, and that probably wouldn't be enough to get the deal done from Indy's perspective, AND he would probably bolt after the season, but he'd make Dirk's last hurrah a lot more fun to watch. I don't think I would do something like this, but I was curious what y'all think about the MBT's mindset of balancing present VS future. P.S. Feel free to #SatnamShame me if you feel it is necessary.
