“I know he's been covering the team for a long time, so I wouldn't blame him for being cautious with his expectations, but he's just flat out negative. When the Raiders lose, he harps on all of the things they need to fix and when they win, he still harps on all the things they need to fix. He almost seems surprised when he has to point out something positive. I'm not asking for a cheerleader, but at least let us enjoy a win on a Monday morning.
To make it even more annoying, his analysis rarely goes beyond "(Player X) needs to step up/play better" or "(Coach X) needs to coach better. Listening to his other podcast with Matt Williamson really highlights the difference between an analyst doing his job and a beat writer trying to analyze a game. Matt is an excellent analyst with real insight that demonstrates an understanding of the finer points of football. Bill really just points out to us who played well and who played poorly, which most of us can do on our own.
Production quality is also not great, but I'd be willing to overlook that if the content was better.”Read full review »

As a Texas Tech fan (think Ted Watts’ era), I started listening to Locked on Chiefs. Their format is engaging and they bring in guests. Maybe...”Read full review »
