Tanner Houck turned in a quality outing and the Red Sox bats got going early in what turned into a 7-0 win over the Oakland A's Thursday night at Fenway Park. The Sox took 2 of 3 from the A's and won 5 of the 6 regular season meetings between the 2 clubs. The Red Sox got on the board with 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning against Luis Medina. Jarren Duran led off with a walk and went 1st to 3rd on a double from David Hamilton. Tyler O'Neill and Rafael Devers both struck out. Connor Wong walked to keep the inning alive and that loaded the bases. Masa Yoshida came through with a 2-out, 2-run single and Wilyer Abreu made it 3-0 with an RBI double.
