“Usually these podcast are pretty good but this one is just crappy half truths and contradictions. It reminds me of trump giving a press conference. I am pretty sure they put a bunch of headline stories in a paper bag and drew them out and said “okay, how is this trump’s or white people’s fault?” I did listen to all of them and they don’t get better with their rhetoric even though they do nothing but bash right wing media outlets for spouting their rhetoric. Example of contradictions: Made sure to mention that “90% of BLM protest were peaceful” but also made sure to add in that Kyle Rittenhouse (who wasn’t affiliated with any groups) shot 3 people. They made mention of right wing protest after right wing protest but only Kyle Rittenhouse shot anyone shouldn’t that be 90% peacefully too. Example of half truth: trump called for social distancing and 4 weeks later called for freeing people from lockdowns in certain states. It was only 4 weeks later but narrator fails to mention that though states had same or higher number of Covid cases but had more extreme lockdowns then rest of country. What the narrator fails to realize is that EVER episode was not the result of trump or white supremacy or rise of the radical right. All of this is a result of government overreach. Waco- government overreach, ruby ridge- government overreach, Oklahoma federal building- because of government overreach in first 2, covid lockdowns- government overreach, George Floyd- government overreach, January 6th-well you have government officials escorting protesters around and opening doors so yes government overreach. You didn’t learn anything. You are just preaching a different rhetoric. You are no better than trump. But go ahead and prove me wrong. I will be waiting on your series on the rise of the radical left next.”
