Absolutely give it a listen.
I love it. It’s been less than two months since I first heard it, but there are already episodes I’ve listened to multiple times. Listen once, find the guest’s articles, become enamoured, listen again with this new context… maybe again later for kicks…. A podcast with replay value is something. The interviews are essentially really great conversations, personal and casual but always informative, less formal and more a good hangout between peers, you know? The hosts are great alone, and I enjoy just hearing that few minutes banter at every beginning. There’s also quite a variety of guests, in their subjects or beats or even writing formats, the Longform folks approaching each with the same respect and earnestness. Admittedly there’s a narrow audience for a show like this, but if you’re in or around those narrows, you’ll be so glad it’s there.

Always features a great mixture of writers and subjects. It's insightful without being obscure, is topical when needs be, and always tells interesting stories about your favourite feature writers. I never miss a week.Read full review »

Smart, interesting people talking to smart, interesting people. I'm not a longform journalist, but almost every one of these episodes is fascinating in some way. Pick one and listen, it'll be good.Read full review »

Wonderful talks on a very niche topic that is completely accessible to all audiences. Definitely recommended.
