Awesome podcast
Started binging this show a week or two ago after watching the LOTR movies for the first time and thoroughly enjoying Tom’s work on the Witcher and Elder Scrolls lorecasts. For me, the movies made sense in a way the books (except for The Hobbit) didn’t because I could see all the people and landmarks as I learned their names. My experience with the lore of the movies and the Shadow (of War/Mordor) games got me hooked on the universe, which Tom explains enthusiastically and articulately. This series has kindled an interest in reading the Silmarion and the Book if Lost Tales, plus it’s just a fun, relaxing listen. Highly recommend for Tolkien/LOTR enthusiasts of all stripes!

Incredible Podcast. Tom does an amazing job delivering the lore in this show and stay true to Tolkien’s work without the podcast becoming a full reading of the books or leaving the listener feeling like he is skipping over a lot of information. Easy listening and an absolute delight. Would...Read full review »
