Season 2: Powerful storytelling but absolutely no solid evidence.

However, especially in Season 2, she succumbs to unfounded conjecture rather than solid evidence. I would expect more from a New Yorker staff writer. Having had a beagle- who I called the Houdini beagle- I absolutely can imagine Fred’s description. A “creepy feeling” is not a guilty verdict and god help our justice system if juries are making verdicts based on such weak and circumstantial evidence.
