Much ado about nothing
Very disappointing - the key thing - if a dangerous serial shooter is responsible for the murder of a poor man in his tent -disappears as an already meandering ‘investigation’ loses whatever direction it may have had. Is this about poor policing, wrongful arrest, the increasingly violent nature of life in the US, social inequality or whether there is/was a shooter loose in the hills for a few years? It’s about all and therefore none of these things because of it’s lack of focus and rigour. The mere mention of a tea leaf reader guiding or informing the investigator’s apparent ally undermined the dwindling credibility of what on the face of it could have been an impactful and crusading piece of work.

More reviews of Lost Hills: The Dark Prince
Reporter is boring and slow. I felt like the first podcast revealed nothing. I hate the “Payne Lindsay” style of reporting- where journalists act like they and everyone around them doesn’t have access to the internet. There IS nothing in this podcast that isn’t out there already.

Maybe have a few staff listen to the episodes before publishing??? There are glitches in all episodes. Skip backs. Commercials jumping back in.

I’m glad this is getting more attention. Interesting how many ‘locals’ dislike it. People are very invested in the perception of how ‘perfect’ this area is (Malibu, Calabasas etc). I wonder also about Mitrice Richardson’s very sad case and the links to Lost Hills cops.
