transporting, an absolute pleasure.
stunned that this doesn’t have more glowing reviews. the podcast is entirely entrancing. i am transported to this small australian town whose isolated and eccentric residents tell the story of one of their own who has gone missing along with his dog. undeniable mystery surrounds the disappearance, but so much more is revealed about the interviewees and their relationships with one and other that it doesn’t become grim. it’s more like sitting on a screened porch listening to the wild birds and thrumming of fans and the hissing or summer heat hearing this unusual group of townspeople tell a fine story.

This is really excellent storytelling. The reporters skilfullly convey the town’s quirks without trivialising the seriousness of the subject matter. I rarely listen to podcasts but this one left me wanting to move straight on to the next installment.

Loved this podcast but how unprofessional to release with sound issues. Really disappointing end to a brilliant podcast.
