I don’t know how I missed this one for so long. It’s a classic.

The Irish cannot clearly say T very succinctly and Paddy says it very clearly. Has he just buggered off!

The podcast is well made but it’s too many episodes and nothing comes out of it . It just doesn’t go any where. It’s an interesting story and place but it just drags on.

One of the best! Keep up the amazing work!

Decent podcast… pretty well presented. But honestly the professionalism or even that word really does lack in the NT. This is honestly a disgrace that yet again the NT police force cannot prosecute a crime with a black and white recorded confession? And only 12 suspects???? If that is lost on...Read full review »

This was so well researched and presented! I could imagine the town, the houses, the pub, the people. You’ve set a great scene and I was so enthralled. Thank you. RIP Paddy. Justice will come.

Hope the makers come back and fix the last two eps because I’m dying to find out what happened at inquest!! The first portion of the original show is amazing and well worth a listen.

Loved this podcast but how unprofessional to release with sound issues. Really disappointing end to a brilliant podcast.

This whole podcast is ruined the audio in last two parts - the most important ones!! Kylie is indecipherable . So annoying.

One of the presenter is hardly audible.

Is there an issue with the second bonus episode? Half the sound seems to be so quiet as to be unintelligible 😭

I have been enthralled with this podcast and the compelling tale has me desperate for more. The latest two episodes have some audio issues- I can’t hear most of Kylie’s audio!! Can you please help. It’s the same on multiple podcast services.

I enjoyed the visit to the outback town and the way the reporter bought the characters to life for us listening at home. I am sorry to hear that a man can go missing without answers.

Well thought out and researched story. I’ve read both the book and podcast and highly recommend. Beware of ads - they are popped in mid sentence - sometimes mid word - which is a little disappointing but otherwise the content is great
Bluebaby194 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/06/22
Great podcast, but Apple spoiled it by dropping ads in while you where speaking, same two ads over and over

After hearing Kylie Stevenson episode on ABC Conversations I was throughly intrigued with the Larrimah story so went searching for this podcast. My mind boggles that Paddy has not been found and desperately hope someone comes forward with the answers. I loved every second of this poddy and...Read full review »

I was expecting a story about a murder. What I wasn’t expecting was to be laughing out loud along the way. The characters in this pod are so warm and funny (not necessarily intentionally!) and it’s really well researched and presented. Listened to the whole lot in a day!

Good podcast & entertaining. But it was more about the town & its aging residents than about missing Paddy.

Very well told story! Poor Paddy, and Kelly the dog! Don't like to point fingers but Fran hated Paddy and she's the only person to have a meat mincer and a pie business!! Oh dear! At least man & dog went together, would have been sadder for one to be left without the other! Great...Read full review »

Brilliant in every way. A captivating story from the very beginning that manages to capture the unique personalities and idiosyncrasies within this small town and weave them into a man’s mysterious disappearance. Never feels slow. Never feels like details are included just for the sake of it. I...Read full review »

Fascinating characters and complex relationships as ordinary folks survive in the outback. Survival for sure! There is nothing to do here but eat camel pies, listne to the birds and drink beer. Great journalism! I wish Paddy or what happened to him could be unearthed.

Lyrical and descriptive, this podcast transported me from my kitchen in Tennessee to the outback, to a tiny and endearing town, and to meet these amazing and interesting people. By the end, you’ll be in love with the town too!
✨Gypsigirl✨ via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/03/19
Interesting story to begin with but it’s like they ran out of money half way through, or got bored with it and wrapped it up as quickly as possible. Also, the secondary narrative has the MOST irritating voice and narration style.
sophtastico via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/26/19
I really enjoyed this podcast. It’s so beautifully captured the character of small towns in Australia. It’s presented with the right amount of humour, questioning and seriousness. Love it!

The Northern Territory & Territorians in general defy description. Unique characters in a dangerously wild environment surrounded by a strangely sublime beauty. This podcast does a terrific job. A sad story at its core told with great Aussie humour depicted in a sensitive manner.
