Great but they’re reaching
Great podcast. The narration is good and it’s an easy listen. It seemed obvious to me by the second episode though, that these girls got lost and died of exposure. Their remains were scavenged by animals, and most are probably still out there in the jungle, probably not far from the river. Agree with another reviewer that it was immediately obvious to me that the girls were using the flash. They probably heard something, were scared and were trying to see and/or scare off, probably a big cat, which they say are in the area. The case gets attention, which activates the rumor mill amongst the locals, and the conspiracy theorists worldwide. Very, very sad knowing these girls were out there lost for days - which there is plenty of evidence of. Unfortunately hikers get lost and die of exposure regularly. So sorry for their families to loose them and never have complete closure.
