I wanted to like it
Details stretched out with mostly assumptions makes it hard to want to tune back in. After listening to each episode I was left thinking that what they said could have been captured in about 10 minutes. Maybe I’m missing something.

Really well done and enjoying every episode but after 3 episodes I’m convinced there wasn’t any kind of foul play. They keep alluding to it but I haven’t heard anything that would suggest it even in the slightest. So for that, I’d say it’s not true crime. This is so well done. It’s a haunting tale but more than that it’s how Maria tells it. She includes details that really help set the scene & transport me from my backyard in the states to a tiny town in Panama. I’ll be looking for & listening to any other podcasts she does.
