“This is an awesome podcast! Congratulations on being the first of the LOST podcasts to have 2 episodes a week. This is a huge time commitment, and I really appreciate your effort. The fact that you need 2 shows to cover all your listener's ideas shows
1) That you care about all your listeners enough to see that all are heard
2) That you have a big enough following to require this
The second is a direct result of the first. You do care about your listeners and that is evident in the friendly way you speak about them. The two of you are also very entertaining. I like the fact that one of you is of my generation and the other is younger - it is nice to have someone who can identify with things that I do and it also good to hear a refreshing different point of view. The two of them may engage in friendly batter with each other during the course of a show, but it is obvious that the 2 of you have a strong friendship and respect for each other. That makes the bantering work and serves as a lighthearted diversion from the more serious discussion of LOST.
There is a lot of information here and a lot of theories. It is easy to trust brilliant (not bitter) J and handsome Jack. Just take a look at their blog. Lots of fascinating theories in a friendly atmosphere.
They remind me of the Smothers Brothers. Jack even plays the guitar and they sing an occasional Lost inspired lick. With their perfect combination of LOST information/theorization and humor, this podcast can't help but become one of your favorites. Way to go, Jack and Jay!”Read full review »
