Interesting at First, But (Spoiler Alert)
I found the program to be interesting until the real “Janessa” is located. Yes, she’s a person who’s suffered, but she seems pretty superficial and somewhat of a caricature. (For example, she claims to be a shy person, but when she gets a big insurance settlement, she does what any shy person would do … gets breast enhancement surgery.) The first few episodes discuss “catfishing” and the perpetrators and victims, and those were quite interesting. Janessa (Vanessa), Bubba the Love Sponge, etc. are mere personalities in this podcast, however.

More reviews of Love, Janessa
Perhaps I’m biased on the subject matter being from Nigeria but I loved everything about this one. Would listen to anything else Hannah releases

An entertaining and informative podcast that shines a light on one of the most disturbing features of social media.
