Great premise but need a little work
The preview for this podcast is a little misleading. Each episode begins with a thought-provoking cold open story, and then delves into a fascinating story about human connection. The stories are deep, thought-provoking, and wonderful, everything I would have expected from the cast. But then the remaining runtime -- over half the episode! -- is dedicated to some skit they put together. The skits are... to be honest, I can't really comment, because I've never listened to an entire one. After about 2 minutes of skit, I'm skipping ahead to the end, craving more realism. This podcast could have been perfect if they did two stories, maybe with a short skit in between.Read full review »

This podcast contains compassion, humour, and complexity. It has both made me laugh out loud and cry when I didn't expect it. The form it takes is as complex as the subject it addresses: messy human connection. Everyone should take the time to have a listen!Read full review »
