I'm back with some words of wisdom regarding what I learned about self love during the lockdown. My family and I are all physically healthy and I am also grateful to report that I took this time to work on myself and love myself so much more.
From setting boundaries to loneliness, I tackled it all during lockdown. I had no where to go and so much time on my hands! Instead of binge watching Netflix shows (okay, I did devour Love is Blind) I reflected, journaled, meditated and learned the following:
Setting boundaries is a form of self-love.
Being selfish can serve as a tool to love yourself more if done with the intention of loving yourself more and not hurting others.
Time alone doesn't always have to equate loneliness. In fact, in what during that time that I developed into a stronger, wiser, and much more confident woman.
