When you sacrifice success for a relationship you are saying that you, my dear, are second. Your self-love is tested. It's easy to get wrapped up and fall in love. It's even easier to feel bad for being an entrepreneur, a go-getter because success means as much to you as being a wife and a mother. Women often have to choose to either be successful and single or to sacrifice success for a relationship. Not all partners are created equal. Many significant others want a woman to choose, or guilt her for working too much and too hard, or worse, accuse her of being "intimidating." I get into this is this episode when I realized that being in a relationship hinders my success. I refuse to sacrifice my success for a relationship ever again - even if it means being single.
