It's Mercury Retrograde time and I've learned some lessons in self-love during this time of revising. I have done this (and you can too!) by reflecting on what makes me happy (hobbies, passion projects, friendships, and relationships) and deciding to revisit said things and people in hopes to reignite that spark.
The trick to Mercury Retrograde (and learning these lessons in self-love during this time) is to bring back what is for our highest good and leave the rest behind. For me, that is writing. I abandoned it months ago (and I have time and time again) because I don't get quick enough results for writing on my blog (results = money!). But guess what? Mercury Retrograde reminded me that I am damn good at it and that I also love it and, in turn, love myself more when I write. It brings me joy and fills me with confidence.
So, in this episode, I ask you, what do you have to eliminate from your life that is a pattern? What do you need to revive? What do you need to do again but differently?
I am doing this writing thang differently this time - with no pressure! I am giving myself a lot more grace and space to experiment with all the genres that I love.
