INTRO ‘I am Ione Upfold. I am 22 and want to raise awareness for Tourette's and Dissociative Seizures, conditions that I have. I talk about these on my Instagram and tiktok.’ CONTENT Ione shares her story of how she started having symptoms that she didn’t understand in 2021. Up to that point her life was on track. She was stuying musical theatre at Uni. And then suddenly her life changed. Ione started having seizures and tics. Ione candidly shares her experiences as she wants to raise awareness for those who also suffer and also to help the rest of society understand how they can best help and support those who have to live with this condition on a daily basis. Ione Upfold BIO I started having seizures and tics in November/December of 2021. It took over my whole life and ended up needing me to take time away from my studies to work on my health. I was studying musical theatre and had to stop. I have since been working, and coming to terms with my conditions. I have been struggling through Dr's appointments to get diagnosis. I have been working to learn about these conditions and how to help myself.
