Vile and mean
I’ll leave it. Lovett used to be such a kind and compassionate person who genuinely seemed to empathize with most people. But over the past year he’s become incredibly hostile towards his cohosts, guests, audience, and so on. He looks down on everyone and thinks so highly of his own opinion that he leaves no room for anyone else’s. What was really telling was how much of the love and warmth of this show returned when Lovett was off playing Survivor. Since he’s been back, it’s hard to ignore how cold and flat the show has become. I hope Lovett gets the help he needs, because as far as I can tell this isn’t the person he’s portrayed himself to be in the past. But if this is who he really is, then it’s easy to understand why Crooked has fallen this far.
